Cambridge IGCSE is a globally recognized qualification for students aged 14 to 16 years old (typically Grades 9 and 10). It is the next step after Cambridge Lower Secondary and serves as a strong foundation for Cambridge International AS & A Levels, university, and careers.

Assessment Structure

Usually taken at the end of Grade 10 or 11.
Exams-based system, but some subjects include coursework and practical assessments.
Graded from A (highest) to G* (some schools follow 9-1 grading).
Different difficulty levels:
Core Curriculum (easier, covers basics, max grade C)
Extended Curriculum (more challenging, allows grades up to A*)

Skills Development
Encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and independent research.
Prepares students for A Levels, IB (International Baccalaureate), or national pre-university courses.
